Derek Howard
Derek Howard has an especially strong track record due in part to having worked on both sides of business law: prior to private practice, he worked in the Oakland County Circuit Court as a Judicial Staff Attorney for over twelve years, which gave him a front-row seat to what works and what does not in complex business cases. That experience is invaluable in private practice and allowed him to jump into multi-million dollar cases with unique insight from his first moment of private practice.

Since leaving the court in 2018, Derek has racked up a string of impressive, high-profile victories with the team, with many million dollar victories reported in legal and industry publications.
Litigation can be overwhelming. Derek leverages his experience in the courtroom to help guide his clients through the process in terms they understand, so his clients can make the decisions they are comfortable making - business decisions.
