Ms. MacWilliams has long served as Outside General Counsel for various small and mid-sized businesses, providing prompt, honest and realistic guidance for legal concerns that impact business owners. Her experience runs the gamut from basic sale contracts to complex financing arrangements, mergers and other business transactions.  

Having resisted the traditional track to pick business transactions or business litigations, she has spent decades doing both, giving her a unique perspective both in contract negotiation and in litigation. She litigates cases for general counsel clients and also enjoys taking complex commercial, high-risk cases to trial on alternative fee arrangements.
